It is time to bid adieu to 2009....lifes changed a lot in the past yearr..the thin lines beween sanity and reason seems to have blured...i dont know if the world is seeing reason in the way they react to what is going ...is it going insane.....I think the word of the decade is "Fear"...we fear the human race...the fundamentalists...the zealots...the perverts...the society....the list is endless...this decade has redefined the word...to become the mainstay of our lives...we are afraid of going out in holiday season...we are afraid of a acto dying...we fear...the rsik of angering a nieghbour..because of his regional ..religious or caste background...we calculate caste..relgious and reginional equations before we talk...vote...etc....somewhere i feel helpless and pained that the idea of brotherhood and humanity which are founding fathers expounded has got lost amidst power games and petty politicking.... a wise man...a noble laureate wrote abt what he wanted this country to be....those are the words I will end with...
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
